Southern Malawi Devastated by Cyclone

Cyclone Freddy hit Malawi on March 12 leaving a path of destruction. GMI team member, Brook Seekins serving in Malawi, recently shared that the storm generated “winds of more than 95mph,” and produced “2-3 inches of rain the first couple days.” She also writes, “Many are saying this is the worst disaster in Malawi they have ever seen. And the President has declared a national emergency.” Many of the churches and church members affiliated with GMI have been impacted by this storm.
