GMI Malawi continues to impact lives by equipping women with practical skills while sharing the hope of the Gospel.

On July 13, a six-member team led by Emmanuela Asong traveled 12 hours from Lilongwe to southern Malawi to provide training in personal hygiene, baking, pastry making, arts and crafts, and entrepreneurship. The outreach drew 209 women on the first day, with attendance growing as additional churches requested to participate. During the opening session, Joseph Asong shared God’s Word, and 29 women placed their faith in Christ. The event also included prayer, worship, and fellowship.

On July 25, GMI Malawi celebrated another milestone as 40 single mothers graduated from the Beauty for Ashes vocational training program. The ceremony featured a motivational message from team member Jane, certificate presentations, and an exhibition of products made by the graduates, including cakes, detergents, chili products, and perfumes. Many graduates shared testimonies of renewed confidence, gratitude, and plans to start their own businesses.

These milestones reflect GMI Malawi’s commitment to empowering women spiritually and economically, strengthening families, and building healthier communities.
