Cameroon, the home of GMI team members Joseph and Emmanuela Asong who are serving in Malawi, has been a long-standing GMI-affiliated field. The Grace Churches in Cameroon have been encouraged recently by various ministries and events. In late May, over 50 women participated in a multi-day conference designed to encourage women as wives and mothers and even to teach them skills so they can produce income-generating items to sell in order to help support their families. In addition to this successful event, the Grace Churches in Cameroon also report their Christ-centered early childhood education ministry, Grace International Nursery and Primary School, has graduated 31 from the nursery program to the first year of primary school. The churches in Cameroon thank the Lord for His provision in spite of the ongoing civil war in the country.
