From Zambia to Eswatini

Over the past weekend, GMI team members Simon and Edah Mwanamoya traveled to Eswatini. Simon and Edah are from Zambia and joined the GMI team last year. While they will be moving their family to Eswatini by the end of June – opening this as GMI’s seventh new field since adopting Vision 2023 in 2013 – they are taking this short trip to meet with their team on the ground and to research housing and school for their children. The Mwanamoyas are committed to planting churches in Eswatini using sports ministry. As Simon and his family prepare to leave Zambia, he is still preparing coaches. Within the last couple of weeks, 38 coaches who will serve in seven different African countries were commissioned in Kabwe, Zambia. Pastor Craig Apel, a retired Grace Gospel Fellowship pastor from West Michigan, is serving in Zambia for just over a month, commissioned these coaches who will bring the gospel to their communities throughout the continent.
