GMI missionaries Givemore and Sylvia Nyakambiri, along with a Malawian pastor, Davies, handed out masks and soap to vendors in two vegetable markets in the capital city of Lilongwe. Givemore shares that it is “heartbreaking seeing hundreds of vegetable sellers unprotected from Covid 19 in their daily business.” It was also “challenging because it was very hard to choose to whom not to give the masks. Those very old benefited from masks with a few others whom the market chairpersons chose.” The Nyakambiris recently received a request from local pastors for masks they could use during home visits.
