In the past couple of months, three former GMI missionaries have passed away. Madeline Leonard, with her husband Tony, served in Curacao from 1969 through 1986.  Julia Schipper along with her husband Ira served in Puerto Rico in the late ’60s and early ’70s.  Nell Lawley was a missionary in Brazil for many years beginning in the ’50s with her husband James. Though retired, she ultimately passed away in Brazil while being cared for by family. We are grateful for their selfless ministry to the Lord and the legacy they have left behind.
