Church Planting Movement

Several of our GMI team members are giving thanks for the way the Lord is moving in their church plants.  Not only was Easter Sunday a day where the Panama team saw the church in David filled to capacity, but they are excited about new people who are deciding to attend.  In Mexico, Luis and Marcia Coto are now in their new location in the city of Merida, Mexico where they have more space to gather together on Sundays and throughout the week.  In Paraguay, one of the members of Iglesia Biblica Bereana (Berean Bible Church) wrote the following which are just a few lines from a four-page, handwritten letter given to our team serving there:

Although I don’t consider myself a scholar when it comes to God’s word, little by little I am learning more and more about the texts, and the peace it brings me is unmatched. As a child and youth, going to church was like a kind of punishment, but now I feel like it’s a gift, I want to go every Sunday to listen to the preaching of Pastor Cleiton and Pastor Jerry. I want to participate. I want to listen. I want to know more about the Scriptures and the meaning we should give them.
