GMI team member, Sophia Simtowe, organized and led a women’s retreat in Chunya, Tanzania which is a day’s drive from her home in Mbeya. The retreat was held from May 6-8 and was comprised of five regional women’s group from churches affiliated with GMI in the country. The 39 women who attended received teachings on topics such as how God created them, how to please God, women’s ministries and being faithful wives to their husbands. The ladies also took the opportunity to do door-to-door evangelism reaching out to 34 women in the area of Chunya. Sophia shares that one woman completely gave her life to Christ!
