In early April, GMI team members Joseph and Emmanuela Asong traveled to southern Malawi where Joseph taught a Bible school class to 11 students and Emmanuela, along with her team of three Malawian ladies, taught home economics classes to about 40 women.  A business consultant also traveled with the Asongs.  Joseph and the consultant visited three pastors to whom they have given loans in the past to invest in farming to generate a better income for their families.  They were pleased to see how the Lord had blessed hard work of the pastors.
