In Malawi, GMI team member Emmanuela Asong and her team of four Malawian women started a new class at the Grace School of Home Economics in October 2024. For a year, the students were trained in several areas, including food and nutrition, entrepreneurship, home management, arts and crafts and baking. A key highlight of their training was in the area of spiritual growth. In this class, GMI team member Joseph Asong taught about God’s love and how people can share God’s love in healthy relationships. On Saturday, September 6th, the Grace School of Home Economics hosted a beautiful and impactful graduation ceremony where members of the Grace Church in Malawi, GMI team members, community leaders, friends and relatives of the graduates gathered to celebrate what the LORD had accomplished in the lives of the women. Twenty-nine students graduated.
