Celebrating the Life and Ministry of Ken Mueller

On Wednesday, December 10, Ken Mueller, one of the pioneers whose work laid the foundation in South America that Grace Ministries International relies on today, passed away to be with his Lord.  At 97, Ken is now enjoying God’s grace which he so passionately taught here on earth, while he is also reunited with his wife, Mary, who died earlier this year.

Ken was born November 22, 1928, and accepted Christ as his Savior at age 12 under the ministry of H.B. Prince, who also challenged Ken to dedicate his life to ministry. Mary was born on August 14, 1930, and was challenged by a godly mother to receive Christ at a very early age. Through the influence of a concerned and insightful Sunday School teacher and a missions-minded pastor, she dedicated her life for service at the age of 16. Together they served as missionaries to Brazil from 1960 to 1996.

Their ministries while on the field included:

  • Director/founder of the Bible Institute
  • Teaching in the Bible Institute
  • Evangelism
  • Church planting
  • Counseling
  • Literature ministry
  • Administrator of medical clinic
  • Children’s Good News Clubs
  • Women’s ministries

In 1996, Ken and Mary returned to the States to write dispensational literature in Portuguese, a ministry that will continue to have an impact throughout the Portuguese-speaking world for years to come.
