In a rural area of southern Africa, classes were canceled so students from an Every Nation (EN) training program could attend the funeral of a young man whom they had never met from a neighboring village. These students, from four African countries, were about to graduate after being trained to share the gospel with unreached people groups. The graduation was a very significant event, drawing church leaders from across the region. Despite not knowing the deceased, students and leaders attended the funeral, where Christ was not mentioned due to the village not knowing Christ as Savior. Moved by compassion, the EN students and leaders helped bury the man, joining villagers in the physical labor. Their actions became a powerful testimony of Christ’s love. Please pray for the EN students and consider how you might support this project through Grace Ministries International.
