John and Naomi Caprari’s passion and burden is to reach Unreached People Groups (UPGs) in Tanzania and the continent of Africa. Tanzania by itself has 30 unreached people groups (UPGs) which consist of about six million people. These communities of people lack a significant and effective gospel witness. They need someone to cross cultures to live among them and be the love of Jesus to them. This is not only a task for foreign missionaries, but for cross-cultural workers who are willing to leave their culture and people group to reach other Africans! In their effort to be part of what God is doing to reach UPGs the Capraris are involved in mobilizing, empowering, and developing Tanzanians to be sent out to live among and minister to these UPGs in Tanzania and beyond. There are those from Africa who are called, have been prepared and equipped, and must be sent to proclaim the gospel to those who do not have access to it.

Our goal is to continue raising funds which will enable families to get established in a different area of the country and develop a self-sustaining livelihood so they can work and serve indefinitely among an unreached people group. This education/training and these visits to those in a different people group are an ongoing project that will continue through the year 2021. We are looking for 10 qualified families to equip in cross-cultural ministry, Bible, and business skills.

The training center itself will be located on the western edge of Dar es Salaam. Currently, John and Naomi live well north of the city. Because they want to relocate closer to the facility, they will need to make some much needed vehicle repairs to prepare for the more difficult terrain and set up a new home with furnishings and appliances,

A gift of $5,200 will provide for training, practicums, initial setup costs and seed money for a family to begin a self-sustaining business in order to serve and live within an unreached people group. Already, $25,000 of the $52,000 goal has been pledged as a matching gift towards this project!
