Malawi Cancer PatientsAll
As many within the Grace Ministries International family know, J-Nathan, the six-year-old son of GMI missionaries Givemore and Sylvia Nyakambiri, has been undergoing cancer treatments in Malawi since he was diagnosed in May 2018. Motivated by seeing other children and families struggling through the same or similar diagnosis and treatments, they have submitted the following project:
For $5 we can provide an aid box for a child in the hospital in Malawi being treated for cancer. Each aid box contains items such as peanut butter, soap, two pounds of sugar, a pint of milk, salt, and other food items. We would like to help 70 children which would cost $350/month. This project will aid the Nyakambiri family as they visit the cancer ward in Lilongwe where J-Nathan is getting his leukemia treatments. The hospital does not provide food for the guardians and most of these people run out of food and other essentials since they come from distant rural homes to spend a month or more in the hospital.
